Job Description
Qualifications:
·Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
·Fluency in written and spoken English
Roles and Responsibilities:
·Monitor PPA adherence to Environmental Quality Regulations, other environmental laws, and powerplant GHG inventories for accurate reporting
·Assist in managing PB carbon credit and ERC portfolios across renewable and non-renewable projects with optimization.
·Assist in monitoring compliance with environmental regulations, emissions management, and energy transition risk identification, coordinating reporting with executive management.
·Implement the operationalization of PB ERC strategy building & institutionalizing a transparent, scalable REC trading infrastructure to support domestic and regional market participation
·Coordinate with all renewable project companies to ensure ERC compliance.
·Provide regular reports and updates to executive management on the status of projects, key environmental performance indicators, and main issues.
·Assist in managing all Transactions under RECs sales agreements.
·Ensure the Principal Buyer’s REC entitlement is secured by overseeing the full lifecycle of the REC and activating and enforcing the relevant contractual provisions under the PPA.
·Maximize value realization from renewable energy certificates (RECs/I-RECs) through structured issuance, portfolio optimization, and market-timed monetization.
·Assist in establishing best-in-class Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) systems to cover PB emission portfolio, aligned with international accounting frameworks.
·Position SPB strategically within evolving carbon markets, managing risk, compliance exposure, and value opportunities.
·Guide technically on IPPs for registration, issuance, transfer, and contractual enforcement of RECs/I-RECs.
