Governance Director

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field.
  
• Master’s Degree in Law or a relevant field is a plus.
  
• Professional certifications in Governance & Compliance (CCEP, GRC Professional Certification, CISA) are beneficial
  
• English fluency (written and spoken).
• Min 9 years of experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the design, implementation of corporate governance framework to align efforts with the organization’s strategic objectives, foster a culture of compliance and risk awareness, and promoting governance principles.
  
• Ensure alignment of the authority matrix with organizational objectives, regulatory requirements, and best practices in corporate governance. 
  
• Provide guidance and support to the Board of Managers and its committees on matters relating to governance, legal compliance, and fiduciary duties.
  
• Developing, implementing, communicating and maintaining governance through policies.
  
• Review all SPPC’s internal documents such as procedures, manuals, charters and processes from a governance standpoint to ensure alignment with the DoA, and the other constitutional documents and promote responsibility, accountability, and transparency.
  

• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
• Ability to use Microsoft office applications.
• Communication skills.
