Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
Enhance the organizations understanding and navigation of regulatory requirements, ensuring that SPPC complies with all applicable laws and industry standards.
Ensure alignment of governance practices with SPPCs strategic objectives, promoting a culture of compliance and risk awareness across all levels of the organization.
Guide cross-functional communication and collaboration to implement an integrated approach to risk management, regulatory compliance, and governance principles such as accountability, fairness, integrity, and transparency.
Ensure the SPPC Delegation of Authority (DOA) is regularly updated to reflect strategic shifts, maintaining compliance with evolving organizational and regulatory needs.
Ensure the timely reporting, analysis, and resolution of enterprise-wide incidents, improving procedures to ensure corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence.
Ensure upholding of ethical standards by providing guidance on governance challenges and recommend solutions that promote integrity and accountability within the organization.
Enhance SPPCs capabilities to proactively identify instances of non-compliance, implementing necessary preventive and corrective actions.
Direct efforts to safeguard and elevate SPPC reputation by mitigating risks associated with non-compliance, ensuring the organizations standing remains strong.
Ensure active participation of the first line of defense in managing and monitoring compliance, thereby raising the level of compliance with regulatory requirements across SPPC.
Guide and provide expert advice to various departments to ensure that compile
Manage and regularly monitor compliance activities, assessing processes, addressing deviations from established risk tolerance, and ensuring alignment with SPPCs compliance objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Law.
Master degree in a relevant field is a plus.
Professional certifications in Governance & Compliance (CCEP, GRC Professional Certification, CISA) are preferred
