Job Description

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Strong understanding of supply chain processes, fuel logistics workflows, land and marine transportation operations, operational controls, data management, and reporting.

Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Professional certification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analysis, Project Management, Data Analytics, or Process Management is beneficial.

Proficiency in written and spoken English.

 

 

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain systems, logistics operations, transportation operations, business operations, data analysis, or related fields.

Experience in supporting operational systems, logistics platforms, ERP systems, reporting tools, and data visualization tools.

Experience in managing and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to align requirements and support effective execution.

Experience with monitoring platforms and tracking technologies such as AVL/GPS is preferred.

Experience in energy, utilities, fuel logistics, supply chain, or heavy transport environments is an advantage.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead the business-side management of the Supply Chain System for fuel logistics and fuel transportation, covering both land and marine operations, to ensure it supports operational requirements, daily activities, and business priorities.

Support the operations team in using the system effectively for fuel logistics activities, resolving user challenges, following up on system issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day execution.

Validate the Supply Chain System from end to end across fuel logistics and transportation processes, including planning, scheduling, execution, tracking, metering, contractor submissions, approvals, reporting, billing, and performance monitoring.

Review and validate system data related to land and marine fuel transportation to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and alignment with operational requirements and business rules.

Manage and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of requirements, timely issue resolution, effective communication, and smooth implementation of system-related activities.

Coordinate with relevant internal teams, technical teams, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to represent fuel logistics and transportation requirements.

Provide clear business requirements, operational inputs, user scenarios, process clarifications, data requirements, and improvement requests to support system readiness and continuous improvement.

Lead business validation activities, including user acceptance testing, scenario testing, issue identification, feedback consolidation, data validation, and readiness confirmation before system go-live or major enhancements.

Monitor system usage, data quality, user adoption, operational performance, and system-related exceptions across relevant users, contractors, and stakeholders.

Coordinate the resolution of system-related issues, user challenges, data gaps, workflow bottlenecks, and operational exceptions with the concerned teams.

Identify opportunities to improve system utilization, reduce manual activities, strengthen governance, enhance reporting, improve data quality, and increase operational efficiency.

Prepare progress updates, issue logs, action trackers, data quality reports, user feedback summaries, and management reports to support decision-making.

Support user training, awareness sessions, user guides, testing scenarios, and adoption plans to ensure effective use of the Supply Chain System.

Ensure the Supply Chain System supports land and marine fuel logistics activities, including fuel scheduling, contractor readiness, fleet and driver data, vessel data, unloading readiness, documentation, compliance requirements, and operational reporting.
